About Niseido® Ju Jitsu
Niseido Ju Jitsu is a hard hitting, high impact, purely self defensive martial art.
As a student of Niseido Ju Jitsu, "we will not teach you how to fight," fighting is left to the aggressor. "We will however, teach you how to skillfully defend and protect yourself against the fighter." If you stick to the course and are diligent in your class attendance, your self-esteem and confidence will be heightened and any doubts you may have of your ability to survive in a combative street situation will cease to exist.
Designed specifically for street survival, as a Niseido Ju Jitsu practitioner, you will find that there really is no "sport aspect" to what it is that we do in our traditional classes. While trophies and medals is not our main focus, we do have members who enjoy participating in a variety of tournaments.
Being a multifaceted martial art, we are extremely proud of our two Niseido Ju Jitsu Freestyle Dojos in Talkeetna and Kodiak Island Alaska. Under the proper set of circumstances, with like-minded people, we would consider expanding our Freestyle activities in the lower forty-eight.
